Description
Originally from the Indian state of Karnataka, “hot lentil [boiled] rice” is a spicy rice-based meal. It is said that the dish originated at the Mysore Palace and that it took 100 years for it to leave the location and another 200 years for it to spread throughout the state of Karnataka.
